The relationship between surfacing equipment and surfacing process

The development of modern industry is inextricably linked with the application of metallic materials. The initial forms of metallic materials include plates, strips, cuboids, cubes, cylinders, etc. However, these morphological patterns cannot be applied to industrial products or equipment. Changing the compositional mode of metal morphology is one of the ways to transform metallic materials into various industrial products.

The most robust and reliable method to alter the composition of metallic materials is through welding. When manufacturing industrial products, seam welding is predominantly used for plate-like or strip-like metallic materials, which involves splicing the materials together. For metallic materials in the shapes of cuboids, cubes, and cylinders, build-up welding is often required. Build-up welding equipment is the most crucial equipment for implementing the build-up welding process, which can only be completed with such equipment.

The welding processes implemented by different surfacing equipment vary. Professional surfacing equipment is equipped with the following surfacing processes

1. Supporting heating process: Surfacing welding requires heating before welding, and different materials require different heating methods and surfacing welding temperatures.

2. Mig welding process: Welding is performed by selecting a welding power source according to the size and requirements of the workpiece, and Mig power source is one of them.

3. Mog welding process: Mog and mig differ by only one English letter, yet their welding processes vary widely.

4. Submerged arc surfacing process: It is required when there are requirements for surfacing efficiency and surfacing surface.

5. With build-up welding process: The work efficiency of build-up welding exceeds that of any of the above processes, and the build-up welding process is included in industry technical documents.

All the above five welding processes require the automatic control system of the welding equipment to complete. Professional welding equipment is equipped with multiple welding process formulas and relevant expert parameter settings. Therefore, selecting a fully functional welding equipment can meet various welding process requirements.
